Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to cyborgllama.app, and Cyborg Llama and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Cyborg Llama include cyborgllama.app. The Cyborg Llama website is a web app. By using the Cyborg Llama website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Collection, Use, and Storage of your Personal Information

Cyborg Llama collects and stores your Email address to facilitate login, deliver services you request (such as correct licensing), and internally monitor app use patterns to improve the user experience and provision resources. The following apply to Cyborg Llama’s collection and storage of this information:

This information is stored and retained for as long as necessary to provide availability of Cyborg Llama licensing.

Cyborg Llama collects no other personal information unless you explicitly provide it to us through secondary channels, such as: (a)when sending us an email; (b)when purchasing licensing; (c)when submitting a problem/bug report; (d)when entering a sweepstakes or contest sponsored by us. Information collected in these manners will be used solely to facilitate the achievement of the primary goal, request, or query, as either, explicitly stated and/or as implied by the nature of the secondary channel. This following apply to Cyborg Llama’s collection and storage of this information:

User generated content (i.e. recorded video/audio) are all stored on the creator’s and their collaborators’ personal Google Drives and is not accessible to anyone to whom access to a project has not been granted.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through Cyborg Llama's public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

Cyborg Llama does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

Cyborg Llama may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email, or provide customer support. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Cyborg Llama, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Cyborg Llama may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Cyborg Llama or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Cyborg Llama; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Cyborg Llama, or the public.

How Cyborg Llama Interacts with Your Google Account

Cyborg Llama is a G Suite web app and requires connection to your Google Account for use. Below are the ways Cyborg Llama interacts with your Google Account:

Performs searches within your Drive to locate project folders and project assets.
Uploads recordings from your browser to shared folders within your Drive.
Downloads to your browser video files from project folders within your Drive.
Creates project folders and metadata files.
Facilitates the maintaining of a list of secondary user email addresses within the primary user's Google Account.

Use of Google APIs

Cyborg Llama’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

Right to Deletion

You may request your email address be removed from Cyborg Llama’s licensing database by (a) cancelling your subscription and/or (b) asking your project creator to remove you from their list of secondary users, as applicable. You may also remove Cyborg Llama’s read permission to your drive at any time. Please note that any of the above actions will discontinue your Cyborg Llama use.

Please note that we may not be able to comply with requests to delete your personal information if it is necessary to:

Complete the transaction for which the personal information was collected, fulfill the terms of a written warranty or product recall conducted in accordance with federal law, provide a good or service requested by you, or reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform a contract between you and us;
Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity; or prosecute those responsible for that activity;
Debug to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality;
Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise his or her right of free speech, or exercise another right provided for by law;
Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act;
Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when our deletion of the information is likely to render impossible or seriously impair the achievement of such research, provided we have obtained your informed consent;
Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with your expectations based on your relationship with us;
Comply with an existing legal obligation; or
Otherwise use your personal information, internally, in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which you provided the information.

Children Under Thirteen

We are deeply committed to protecting the privacy of Cyborg Llama users, including compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (“COPPA”).

Cyborg Llama does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.

Should we come to know that a child under the age of 13 has submitted any personal information by way of contacting tech or customer support or otherwise, the child’s email address may be used to respond to the child’s question or request. After the child’s question/request has been answered/filled, the child’s email address and any accompanying personal information will be deleted.

In the event that you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from your child, you can contact us at [email protected], and we will investigate the information and its location immediately. Should it be determined that the information is beyond what is reasonable to continue Cyborg Llama use, we will delete the information.

E-mail Communications

From time to time, Cyborg Llama may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication.

Cyborg Llama’s cookies are strictly necessary. Cookies are stored only to complete a user’s request for service, for example, to retrieve and service licensing a user has purchased.

Cyborg Llama reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. Your continued use of the website and/or Services available after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
